Refund Policy

Seller of record: Stripe (through its Managed Payments service), on behalf of Hollwick Technologies Inc. The seller of record identified at checkout and on your receipt governs your purchase.

1. Try before you buy
Build Perch offers a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the Software before purchasing. We encourage you to use it to confirm the Software meets your needs and runs on your system.
2. Standard refund window
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied, contact us at contact@buildperch.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number, and we will refund the purchase price, subject to Section 5. After a refund, your license is revoked and you must stop using and uninstall the Software.
3. Subscriptions
- Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and your license remains active until the end of the paid term.
- The 14-day guarantee in Section 2 applies to your first purchase of a subscription.
- Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion (for example, an accidental renewal reported promptly). To avoid a renewal, cancel before the renewal date.
4. Consumer withdrawal rights (EU, UK, and similar)
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right for digital goods, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase.
For instantly-downloadable software, that statutory right can be waived if you give express prior consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose the withdrawal right. At checkout you may be asked to consent to immediate access — if you do, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right may no longer apply, but our voluntary 14-day guarantee in Section 2 still does.
5. When refunds may be declined
We may decline a refund if:
- the request is made after the windows above;
- there is evidence of fraud, abuse, license sharing, or chargeback abuse;
- the issue is caused by a third-party service you connected (for example, an AI provider outage or your provider’s charges) rather than the Software itself — though we will help troubleshoot; or
- a refund is requested repeatedly across multiple purchases.
6. Third-party charges are not refundable by us
Build Perch does not resell AI model access. Charges you incur directly with third-party providers (for example, OpenRouter token costs) are billed by those providers and are not refundable by Hollwick. Please contact the provider for their billing.
7. How to request a refund
Email contact@buildperch.com with your order number and the email used at purchase. Refunds are issued to the original payment method by our Merchant of Record, typically within 5–10 business days. Stripe’s buyer terms also apply to the transaction (https://link.com/terms).
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
